What happened to having 5 weeks until my due date...?
This little handsome man is the best! I love him. Kinda a lot. :)
There's this pretty amazing girl Jamie, who moved into our ward and volunteered to take Payson's pictures. She said she wants practice...I think she's already pretty amazing. She has a little girl, Jane, who was born 5 days before Payson. Payson flirts with her--he always smiles at her, and he drools. I think he's in love ;) Jane on the other hand stares at him...can't quite figure out what she thinks of him. Maybe she's playing hard to get? Next time we'll have to get a picture of them together....
Sorry for the picture overload. Can't get enough of these pictures....
So. A little about this man. He has seen the world in a sitting and standing angle (himself sitting and standing--with our support obviously), and he remembers that view and he ALWAYS wants that view now. Thankfully we have a bumbo, however that is only good for about 10 minutes...he tires easily from trying to support himself. So we sit and hold him. What's great is if he grabs your fingers he will pull himself into a sitting position...then he'll stand. All with just us balancing him. Amazing. Maybe all babies are like that--what do I know? I just keep thinking he is going to take off walking before he learns to roll over...or grab his toes. Tummy time to him is paralyze time. He doesn't move. I'm thinking he wont learn to crawl...but who needs to crawl when you can walk. He will now reach out and grab things. Except he's not fond of grabing things when you are playing with him, or if he is laying under his play mat. Ah well. He's started a cute little laugh. It comes and goes, but he'll have it perfected by next month. He talks...and talks...and talks. It's darling. He talks so much he constantly wants someone looking at him while he holds this conversation. I guess he doesn't want to talk to himself. Go Figure right... ;) He gets that chattiness from his father. Good grief, has anyone ever heard me go off on a monologue? I'm to shy. I'm glad Payson isn't. I hope he can stay outgoing. I guess that means I'll have to try to support a healthy environment so he can learn and grow that way. Maybe I'll need to come out of my shell a bit. I have been working on that...I've progressed. On a scale from 1-10, 10 being totally outgoing, I'm probably a 4 now instead of a 2. ;) Back to Payson. He also loves to be held up above your head, in a flying like position. He has now recognized Ty's face and voice...and LOVES his dad. Payson thinks Ty is the FUNNIEST man in the world. And if any of you know Ty...he is soaking up the laughs. Finally someone else around here to feed Ty's ego. Ty enjoy,s more-so now, that Payson knows him. Payson is currently on a schedule where he will wake up between 6-7. Right as Ty gets up for sch-work. SO...Ty gets Payson up, plays with him, chats with him, changes his diaper, and then brings him to me. I think it's super cute. I feel bad for Ty when Payson sleeps a little to long and Ty doesn't get to see him before he goes to work. I think it is sad for Payson too...
As for weight and height. I don't have actual doctor measurments--since he wont go to the doctors again until his 4 months. However I was curious as to his weight and height, so I unofficially tried to weigh his and measure him myself. Therefore these numbers may, or may not, be the most accurate figures. Whatever though. :)
weight: 15.4!
height: 25!
One healthy kiddo. And for that, I am grateful.
