Aye!
Fun.
Someone...not sure who. Found this quaint little campground. Best part. Free.
There is this trail that goes from Pittsburgh to Washington DC. This campground is along the trail. To get to it, however, you had to bike in. We luckily had bikes. And thanks to the Mocks, we got to borrow their bike trailer, and the Callisters, we borrowed the bumper thing that goes on cars to transport the bikes. Poor Tyson did about 4 trips. He got in his workout. I almost died. Whoever says once you learn to ride a bike you never forget...apparently didn't know me.
ergo the saying "it's like riding a bike" is totally incorrect.
Whatev's.
Paysons first camp trip!!!
YES! I did it. I survived camping with a child. It was hard. and I wanted to scream at times. and I got 2 hours of sleep. Maybe. (Only becuase I was afraid my child was FREEZING to death. He slept like a champ!)
Doug and Aneesa didn't have bikes, to the men rigged up this contraption in order to get some bikes to them in the parking lot, so they could ride in, instead of walk the mile.
Pace awoke from his nap to a blue room. He was so fasinated by it. He may or may not have stayed in there an extra 30 minutes before pulling him out.
We had the smallest tent. It did work. When it was just Tyson and I. But adding another person, and another persons sleeping space, made our living room a bit squished. So Tyson bought the Tajhmal's cousin. (see the big gray, blue, and yellow tent in the backgroung? That's Doug and Aneesa's. Tajhmal the origional. Sleeps like 80. Tyson bought the same tent for us. haha.)
We never go anywhere without forgetting something. We almost forgot our pillows. Except I would have rather forgotten those and remembered our blankets. We basically froze. I remember Pace's blankets though. Thankfully.
So super fun. Glad we went.
