Remember last year how we did pretty much everything? I'm super glad that we did, because this year we were super super lame. We sat around. It was so blasted hot, and I just felt bad taking a little 5 week old out into that heat and humidity. So it was that we were lame.
HOWEVER
Because we were lame, we got to enjoy the neighborhood fireworks that Paul Johnson does. Oh and we totally enjoyed the get together at the "mormon compound".
I had my eye out for the new place we moved into. It was so ideal. Mostly for the fact that it is right inbetween to other wonderful friends. Laurel and Jessica. The house is better too...by far! Thanks to Hayley for keeping it wonderful, and letting us move into their house. :) Anyways back to the mormon compound. Because there is 3 friends right next to each other in this set of row houses, the men thought they would pull the grills out into the alley and we'd have a not official ward picnic for the 4th. Basically awesome. I could not be more grateful for the times when, family back home would be doing the traitional things of bbq, parties, and camping, and our friends out here plan a get-together. It really makes me so glad that we moved here to Pittsburgh. With so many ward friends. Also to truly understand the meaning of a ward family. Love it.
