Had much???

G...Wizz. Where to begin. After being here in Pittsburgh for a little over 2 weeks there is already SOOO many things that I have always taken for granted, and NEVER thought much of...

1. Central Air. I've always been aware of it, and after spending a couple of hours outside it was nice to go into a place where there was central air. Cripes. Never before have I been excited to go grocery shopping just so I can stand in a building that is frigid cold.

2. A dishwasher. ThAnKfUlLy there is just Tyson and I. Which means there isn't many dishes to wash. However there is still many dishes that I need to wash by hand. (yet not being employed at the moment it's nice to have dishes to do other wise I'm 99% sure I'd stay in bed all day because there wouldn't be anything else to do...I'm dying of bordeom. haha)

3. TV. I don't watch much tv, and all the channels that I did watch were always avalible on the ditgal box. (where you don't have to pay money to get tv, you just need rabbit ears.) *nevertheless the tv where you can record your shows sure came in handy.* But here's the problem. My home is made of brick. Pure. Brick. My tv's rabbit ears can't get any signal because of the bricks. So whenever any show is on that I want to watch...I simply connect enough cable cords so that I can simply stick the antenna's outside our door. Redneck much? White trashish? Don't really care.

4. Cell Phone service. Remember how my house is brick. Yup that hinders the cell phone signals too. Lovely. So if you call and you can't hear me very good. It's not my fault, and it also means I'm to lazy to go outside on the porch to talk to you. haha.

5. Utah's road construction. WHAT? You may think. But honestly. If there wasn't road construction in Utah the roads wouldn't be very nice. There would be like 50 potholes over a half mile span. Which means your conversations go like this...."So *bump* how'd your clas*bump*ses go today *bump* lo*bump*ve? Get's annoying. and poor Candy Apple, she's sure getting a beating. I almost feel bad for the poor vehicle. :( Nevertheless, if there was road construction here traffic would be 100 TIMES worse than what it is. However I do not think that Utah should spend ALL the money for road construction and fixing them, a lot of them are still nice when they decide to work on them, I'm just saying...It was nice to have nice roads to drive on. haha

6. The drive to Weber State. Weber was oh 20ish miles from home to there. Which was usually like a 20-30ish minute drive. The University of Pittsburgh is oh...10 miles from home. It is a 20 minute drive to where we park (all because traffic is completly messed up), and then a 10ish minute walk to school. Fetch.

7. Driving. I will NEVER (okay I already have) drive (but not very much) in Pittsburgh (Unless there is some type of emergency). I am seriously SCARED to death of driving here!! People are crazy!! The speed limit may be 30, but no one really cares and some are going like 45! What's wrong with that, just slid to the slow lane...oh yeah...there is no slow lane. There is a lane. Ugh. And when you go the speed limit, you worry about stopping because that means the people behind you will run into you! They just don't get space here! haha When you gotta make a left turn...when there is so many bridges and so many roads that just split. It's scary.

8. Lots of people around. Tyson and I love games. Like LOVE. Anything from Monopoly, to Sorry, to Phase 10...dominoes...farkle....CaHoots...yeah we just love games. However I've decided that with only me and him, Monopoly takes FOREVER, Sorry ends up being just a one person deal (because one of us gets all the "good" cards like the chance to get out of home, and the other doesn't get anything) and for the most part with two people it's hard to play games, but around others you could get quite the game going!!

9. Dry Utah Air. I. Can. Not. Stand. The. Humidity. Here. Shower...you never dry. Leave your dishes out to dry...they never dry. Do something that remotly cause your heart beat to spike ever so slightly...you need to change your shirt becasue you are covered in sweat. Thought I had way oily skin in Utah. Good grief let's through some humidity in it all and we'll see how oily my skin is now!!

10. Somewhere to go. There was always Grandmas I could go bug, and have company. Or friends I could go to dinner with, and just gossip our lives away. There was Mom and Dad's (meaning I'd come out of my "apartment" at my parents, since we were living there before we moved) or Mom and Dad-in laws. I maybe didn't always go visit them, but there was always that option that I could if i wanted to.

So in the end...I'd like to say this. Learn to be thankful for everything. Every little small thing that even remotly makes a difference in your life. I know that one day I'll learn to be thankful for all the small things here in Pittsburgh, like well I got nothing right now except Tyson going to school, and a roof over our head...those are pretty big things, but like I said I know I'll learn to love it here as much as home. It'll just take some time :) In the meantime everyone else start realizing how much you have that you've never thought of before!
DISCLAIMER: ENOUGH negativity. I really am happy we are here and I really (sorta) do like it here. So don't take this as me complaining! I'm not. Kinda. Mostly just laughing at all the things I never really thought about at home. :) Love Always!

Don't play games with Brady, he cheats:) He does cheat, but he is one of the funnest game players ever. If you get a chance, you should play with them.
