I'm Not sure What to Title this Post...

Well there is like a million titles i could give this post. One could be my early Christmas present....another could be My evening out....still another could be I'm Never betting again on anything....or I don't know Ty as well as i thought. But all that is besides the point. Let me tell you about my Saturday December 13, 2008. Well It started off with seeing Twlight. We went to the 12:50 show, and goodness i think i'm forever going to go to the early shows. They are so much cheaper!!! Twlight was wonderful. Not as good as the book, but nothing ever is. Then Tyson and i headed out to Salt Lake. Our first stop was at the Shane Co. (yes...we are ring shopping, and Tyson really wanted to see what all their rings were like....you hear them on the radio all the time...so we went to 7200 south at the corner of state street.) That place is HUGE!! holy crap!! anyways nothing was bought and it was just a lot of fun. There was some pretty rings! And Ty even put two on law-away so he could come pick one out without me. Next we traveled to West Jordan (just like 15 minutes away from where we were) to pick something up for my dad...I can't say what cus my mom might read this. After we picked up this item We headed to Temple Square! Ty started to get sad, a little upset. But i Figured it was 6:15 and he hadn't eaten lunch or had dinner yet, and he was just starving...so i figured once we got to dinner he'd be happy! Well we were trying to decide what to do for dinner. It was between The Lion House, and The Olive Garden. I really love the Lion House, but i was scared to go there because for one i've honestly only been there for lunch. so i didn't know how it would be for dinner, and i wanted a good meal that i knew would fill me up. also the same for Ty. I wanted him to eat something he liked so He'd be happy. ha ha So we found Olive Garden. after being stuck in traffic for 30 minutes 2 minutes away from our destination. There was a Concert that started at 7:00 at the conference center, and the Jazz game at the ESA, a Winter formal dance for some High School, plus all the people that just wanted to see the lights. ha ha. Anyways we finally found parking and paid five bucks for it. Just for the Sake of Journaling this night, We parked in the dimond parking. :) Well we walked across the street to The Olive Garden and found out that the wait was only like 5 minutes. We timed everything right. We Started eating at 7 and dinner was amazing! Tyson was Smiling all through dinner and i kept making comments about how i was wearing his necklace he gave me and the earrings he gave me, to bad i didn't have the final piece of jewelry to complete it...but he just said to bad. we got out of dinner around 8, ran back to Ty's jeep and grabbed all our warm clothes and proceeded to Temple Square. Tyson was walking so fast! and Thanks to my Spin Class Friday at Lady Fitness, my legs were kinda feeling like rubber, after sitting in a car for a while and it being cold outside! Tyson kept wanting to make sure we were at West Temple, i was starting to think he was crazy! i just wanted to slow down. it was only like 8:20 and we could stay at the lights as long as we wanted. ha ha. well Little did i know Tyson had a plan. We Went to West Temple and low and behold Tyson reserved us a carriage ride. It was so cute!! It's always been a dream to ride in one with the one i love! (i should have been born back in the 1800 because i love the idea of riding everywhere in carriages!) anyways it was so sweet, and i started crying! who does that?! but i did! our ride was at 8:30, and now i understood all the stress he was having about making it to salt lake and getting dinner. Anyways we got on and i started to tell him about how this is the best night, and it's so wonderful, and how sweet he is and how much i love him! (p..s. i realize that my cheeks look like i have apples in them, but i was kinda just excited to go for the ride! i couldn't stop smiling big! so i looked silly. read on don't stare!) Next we just started talking. and i told him how i think everyone in the world thinks that he's going to propose to me tonight, but they were all losers and i bet 50 dollars he wasn't going to...well he laughed and laughed...asked why, and i told him i knew it wasn't tonight. it was going to be new years. and he didn't have a ring and he's a horrible liar. He just admitted that i was right. Well we got to East Temple Street where there was a beautiful view of the temple. and Tyson leaned over and said "wow, look how pretty the temple is" i agreed, it was amazing, and he leaned away so i turned back to look at him, and He told me My parents were right, then said, Will you marry me emily? AH it was so cute! but now for my downfall....i kinda thought he was kidding. i was 1 hundred and 25 percent sure that he wasn't going to propose to me! and we went ring shopping for crying out loud He doesn't have a ring! i kinda just sat there, i couldn't say anything. i knew i wanted to say yes, i knew i needed to! but it seemed so unreal! finally Tyson was all "welllll....." and i was just all YES! YES OF COURSE!! and he put the most beautiful ring ever on my finger! it was the one i saw months ago, and absoultly fell in love with. it was the only one i wanted!! it was an amazing night! I love Tyson in so many ways, and He's so wonderful to me! I'm really excited to spend forever with him!!
