"first day of Adult ER"
I can't believe my dear husband is growing up!! haha
He's starting work in the hospital.
WEIRD!
I still can't get over the "work schedule" he's given.
It sucked when he had school everyday 8-5.
because I never saw him, and when he'd come home (if he'd come home) he'd be studying.
Now, he can sleep in some days because he doesn't have to report (gosh that sounds so official) to the hospital until noon. or 4. The only difference is he then works and doesn't get off until 10. hum.
But he gets Wednesday off. And Sunday's...for now.
This is cool folks.
We're making progress.
My question:
Will he survive these 3 things...
1. not having a set schedule where he can eat at a certain time. (This one I don't doubt, he's gotten good at eating when he has to)
2. Let's say he doesn't get a break for the day, will he get super mean and onery when he doesn't get food? (I think he'll survive this one too. He's been around a pregnant wife for the last 9 months, and so I think he's starting to understand how annoying it can be when you get mad over not getting food...I've also gained a bit of compassion for him.)
3. Becoming a Dad on this rotation. I've already made a cute little sign that says, "First day of being a dad..."
Gosh I'm so sentimental.
:)
