I banned Tyson, my mom, my mother-in-law, my sister, aunts, grandmas everyone from talking about little girl outfits, or showing little girl outfits, or saying how cute they are. I was excited for a boy, but honestly, there Isn't as many cute and stylish boy stuff as there is girl stuff. (except for little tuxedos...which my buddy will have one for every age group)
I felt jipped for awhile.
The other day Tyson and I walked into SAMs club. SAMs has a little section for childrens spring clothes. When I went over to look at them I actually found myself enjoying and liking the boys stuff more. I even commented to Ty, "look at the girls stuff, it just seems so girly." That my friends is acceptance, even progress. (I'm sure if I ever end up getting pregnant with a girl I'll quickly change my mind on how "girly" girl things are. But for now, I'm liking my mentality.)
