It's a goal of his that seems highly unachievable.
But he tries very hard.
I struggle with liking our house. It's falling apart. It's crooked. Our dirt floor is a hardwood floor that was laid down to rest about 100 years ago. Needless to say all of my problems exist in almost every Pittsburgh home. However my current problem is our disgusting floor.
I love love love laying on the floor. However have you ever tried to lay down on hardwood floor? especially if that floor is dirty and looks as if something has died on it....? Oh...and let's add in my OCD. It's impossible.
I've been telling Tyson we should just buy a big slab of carpet and make it a giant rug and put it in our family room. I miss laying on the floor and watching TV. Just sitting on the floor. I miss taking naps on the floor (floor naps are the best naps EVER). Yet have you seen prices for decent carpet? I was debating. Spend the money for a luxury? Something about sacrifice was ringing in my ears.
Tyson found a better deal that what we ever would have got.
He got it for me Saturday.
I'm thinking that as much as he has gotten for me...I'm feeling guilty that I'm against his XXL TV he wants....
I'm so grateful for the MS4 who was selling this rug. She probably saved my sanity. I owe her a lot. What a blessing it was to have it the exact size of our family room too.
I almost like our house....almost. Yet...it might be more than almost too.
I took a sunday nap on the carpet too....it was pretty heavenly.
(Pictures were Saturday.)
