Tyson loves Ice Skating. He was so excited when we ended up at a plazce that's into Hockey, because then there would be lots of ice rinks. He brought his skates from home. We took advantage of them last night. And man was it fun!! We ended up going with some of Ty's friends from school. It was so fun getting to put a face with all these names/people he talks about! It was an interesting
and very entertaining night! Mostly because some of Ty's friends had no idea how to Ice Skate. Some of them hadn't even rollar bladed! Needless to say I laughed hard. :) Tyson enjoyed the night for two reasons. One he finally got to skate again. He's been dying to do that since we moved here. Reason number 2...well he got to be the cool person who was able to tell everyone how to skate. He was the "leader". (I also think he enjoyed showing off with all his "cool" moves.) At the end of the night someone decided we'd play tag. Tyson was it, and he came after me. I (thinking I was really cool and good at ice skating thought I could out skate him.) I took off dodged a couple people, weaved in and out of some others...when all of a sudden a person was coming straight at me! OH NO! and
BAMM!!! My feet went right out from under me and I landed smack down on my right butt cheek. ouch. My pants have a button one the back pocket too. I have a bruise in the shape of a button on my butt. I'll prove it...if you ask. Anyways. It was a ton of fun! I would do that everyweekend if I had my own set of skates! (I would also go to the adult only skate session. Apparently it's the high school hangout. Kinda reminded me of 7th street skating rink. Girls would stand on the side while the guys would show off....except there was a lot more "pregnant talk" with these girls, and a lot less articles of clothing...even though it was outside and 7th street was inside. Oh well.)
