Flog.

GREAT NEWS TYSON!!! THERE'S A GAME...AND YOU CAN PLAY TOO!!
(said by cousin Eli July2010)
Have I mentioned that Tyson is really the only reason that there is every anything to post about...? He is the one who totally makes adventures that are "BLOG WORTHY". (Don't stress...whenever he has an idea he informs me by telling me that what he's about to do will be worthy to put on the blog and I need to grab my camera in order to capture it. Gosh I love him...He may be immature and kid like at times, but it keeps me young and laughing, and I think I need that, otherwise I will become an old hag.)
My Uncle Scott brought up this game called FLOG while we were camping this summer. Turns out it was a total hit with everyone. Knowing the Anderson's...there was a lot of competition too, maybe even some hurt feelings between the grown ups. ;) kidding....sorta
Ty has been wanted to do something (which really translates to Make/build something with his hands) for the past couple of weeks. He finally figured out what it was that he wanted to do. So he called up Uncle Scott, got all the mesurments, and we headed to Home Depot. We bought 4 big pvc pipes, 12 T pieces, 6 elbow pieces, and 4 caps oh and 56 inches of rope and thankfully we had 4 golf balls.
All those pieces put together makes a rack of sorts. With rope and golf balls. However as decieving as this "thing" may look...it's actually quite fun. :)
Object of the game you may ask? Well. There is two racks...with space between them. Sorta like horse shoes. Then each player has two ropes...you throw the ropes and try to make it around the middle poles. According to Tyson if you ring the top pole it is 3 points, the middle 2 points, the bottom 1 point. According to me the top and bottom is switched, top being 1 point, bottom being 3. We establish whose rules we will go by before we play though. haha. The game seems easy, yet it's actually kinda hard to ring those poles. But thankfully (for my sake) it's not as hard as horse shoes!!
Stay tuned for another "Blog worthy adventure" brought to you by Tyson. :)
