Let's start off with a song of how I feel about Pittsburgh. Sung to the tune of Theory of a Dead Man, "I Hate My Life"
p.s. there is some vulger words throughout this...It's not my fault. Okay it is. However I have 3 reasons as to why those words are in there.
1. It's how I felt.
1. It's how I felt.
2. It's what rhymed and fit into the song.
and
3. Ty was helping me out...and those words came from his brain.
(yes Tyson and I will be the "devil" children once we get into the Pittsburgh ward. I swear we aren't that bad...but turns out we are. Oops.)

oh yes and this was all done out of humor!! we drove a lot...and I was really bored :)
*****
So sick of the toll booths, always begging for change! I hate how I gotta drive around, but they just sit around and get paid!! I hate all the people, who can't drive their cars, and with all the one ways and bridges we don't seem to get very far! I hate how my GPS can't tell where the hell we are, it's always re-calc-u-lating I wanna chuck it out of the car!!
No rights on a red, between 7 and 4...oh crap, I swear we've been here before. Nothing turns out right, there's no end in sight I hate my life!!
How come I gotta recycle? It's just a pain in the ass! put the plastic in the blue, and if we don't we get a fine real fast! So this is what it is like...living with us here in pitt, Ty's still got no job all his schooling hasn't done shit!
Em's got no job, our friends aren't here, I hate everything till the bitter end, nothing turns out right, there's no end in site I hate my life!!
Take a trip to the falls, but now the camera is gone. Left a jacket on the airplane, the trip has only been 4 days long! So if you hate pitt like me, fella's here's what you gotta do! Put your middle fingers up in the air, go on and say "screw you!".
I hate the town, all the old homes, I hate how school has just made us move here. Put me on a flight, going home? Yeah right! I hate my life!!
So much at stake, can't catch a break. I hate my life! No, it's nothing new hear "it sucks to be you!" I freaking hate my life!!

Alright now that you are all SUPER impressed with me and my um not so impressive song to start out my trip...let me share with you the good things :) oh and the song was mostly a joke. All the events are true...but I really don't hate my life...that bad...Nor do I hate Pittsburgh...that bad...We just made up that song during our travels. :)
Okay so in all honesty I really am (I think) gratful for this experience to move to Pittsburgh. Tyson's schooling has done a lot, heck it got us into Med School so he can finish out his schooling. the roads...well I still hate them, and probably always will. I'm petrified of driving there. AH! The garbage...well I really don't know WHAT we are supposed to do. It's ALL weird and I'm not sure how it works, as well as the road cleaning stuff they do all the time. I don't have a job, and while I probably shouldn't worry about it right now...I am. and it sucks. How is it possible to go from always having a job, and always having income and never being worried about it, sure it may have not always been the greatest of income and it may not have been a lot, but it always paid the bills, I never worrried about those..now I don't have any source of income for anything! Like Food. Or phone. Or nothing. ugh. Stressful. I'm not good with not knowing what I'm going to be doing. I'm not good when there isn't a game plan. I need a game plan in order to function. I'm not good with spur of the moment things or surprises. Besides I need a job so that when I get to Pittsburgh I'm doing something...Instead of sitting at our place wishing I was "home". As for our friends not being there...well they aren't. They will all be home in Utah, except hopefully we can make some friends in Pitt. As for the Camera and Jacket. Well I really did leave my jacket on the plane. oops. The plane was like 500 degrees. (no joke) they delayed the plane becasue it was so hot in it...once we borded it...it was down to a safe temperature of 98 degrees. I just totally forgot my jacket there once we got off...because who thinks about a jacket when it's 100 degrees...besides my mom. haha. And the camera. Well we really did loose it. Momentarally. We stopped for lunch and then BAM it was missing. Turns out we found it. Thank heavens. In a secret compartment in the center console in the rental car. Stupid. I believe that the company should tell you about all SECRET places in the car before you leave. Augh.
Okay So the top picture is our little home. Our door is on the right. Just incase anyone ever comes to visit. Our place is also the first floor. The door on the left is to the tennets who live upstairs. These two Wonderful videos are of our Apartment. For those people who will probably never come visit me...except you wont get to see it furnished. haha. So the first one is of the apartment, and the second is of our basement. (just Kidding...Tyson wont let me put it on here, to lazy to delete the sentance...turns out you have to come visit)
It was hotter than Hades while we were in Pittsburgh. Man alive. Our plan was to go to wal-mart buy some cheap pillows, and cheap blankets and stay at our house. However Tyson had some friends who just live down the street from us who offered us their guest bedroom to stay in. Ty agreed to it 100%. I on the other hand struggled with it for a bit. I'm also not good with imposing on people, and making them alter the way they do things just to accommodate us. Nevertheless I'm super grateful for their hospitality and friendship. They are amazing people, and I don't know what I would have EVER done had I not been able to talk to Laurel and know that when I get to Pittsburgh and cry...I'm normal.
While we were there we got all of our apartment and Ty's school stuff taken care of so we went to see some sights...
Kirtland Ohio was our first stop. We took a tour through the Temple, and then a tour through the living areas below the Temple.

Our next stop was Lake Erie. We stopped at Port Erie in the town of Erie. (Tyson found that HILARIOUS) The great lakes really are amazing. They are Huge! If you look at the picture the land you see on the other side isn't the other side of the Lake...that just happens to be an island. You honestly cannot see the other side of the lake once you get out there. Amazing.

...One of the more dull moments of the car rides...
There is three different falls that makes up Niagara Falls. The first picture shows American Falls and Bridal Falls; the next picture shows you Horse Shoe Falls. The falls were pretty amazing. Something I never thought I'd ever see...but I saw it. Cool huh. haha
If you want to see it too...You could come stay with us and then we will go with you! They are only 4 hours away from where we live. :) That's means you get a bed to sleep in for free...and you don't have to rent a car...or pay for a tour bus...that's one cheap vacation. I should be the new priceline negotiator. :)
By the end of the trip i wanted nothing more than to go home.
:)

Your song was pretty funny, especially for anyone who has driven in Pittsburgh. We can't wait to have you here and I know you will make friends quick! Funny to say (because I was scared to move her too) but I will cry when we have to leave. It is a great place to live except for utah being so far away!
