Park City...

Well Park City was in no means Los Cabos...
...BUT...
It was still fun!! It did rain the whole week, and was miserably cold. (Also i wasn't smart enough to pack pants and sweatshirts...Just shorts and t-shirts.) So I froze. haha. Ü It was really weird. Weird being on vacation with a guy...and no parents, but it was also weird because it was just a vacation; I expected to come back and i'd go to my house and he'd go to his. Non of this married crap. haha.
There wasn't much up there to do...We did go into park city a bunch of times (I did get to go shopping, but i was only allowed to get things on sale. haha) and the FuN restruants were only opened on Friday's Saturday's and Sunday's...and we weren't in town for any of those days. haha. So we ventured out and made our dinners. It was actually kinda fun! (I suppose at this time we were just playing house...because i'm not excited to make dinner everynight for the rest of my life. haha) the one and a half days it wasn't raining we decided to go golfing. Super fun!! But i sucked miserably!! Well the tee off i suck at, but all the rest i'm pretty good at if i do say so myself. I just wont tell you our score....haha. and for the other half day we were in park city and we did the alpine slides and the coaster! It was a blast!! I love those things. I could do it all day and everyday. haha. oh and p.s. the zip line they have up there is SSOOOooo not a zip line. It's like a giant swing. (I couldn't find myself to agree to go on it and taint myself with that wanna-be zip line.) so instead of going on that Ty decided to go on a horse back ride all day tuesday. Welp, at that point i should have spent the money and gone on a giant swing. Lets just say huge price difference...especially when Grandpa has horses. But who am I to talk. I would have wanted to do the horse back rides in Cabo, but those are on the beach. Beach or Mountains. I'm feeling justified. haha. It was a lot of fun though!! It did rain the whole time on the ride. (which i had to go to the outlets and get a new pair of tennis shoes -I forgot to pack some- and also a sweatshirt -forgot to pack- nevertheless I did figure out how to get something you want. book a horse back ride in the pouring rain...you get tennis shoes, and a sweatshirt. haha love my life. My new theory is to forget to pack shoes just so i can get some new ones...(which by the way i have thrown out 5 pairs of shoes since moving in...yes 5, and yes 5 is a big deal....) But if i forget to pack shoes i have to get new ones, so i'm going to be allowed to get more shoes!! haha) We did see 2 deer on our ride. haha it was fun going up to the very top of the ski resort and looking out over park city. oh and the really blury fuzzy picture we had one of the guys take a picture and apparently he doesn't know how to take pictures....but it is the only picture of us on the horse.
Well as I said it wasn't Los Cabos. (and maybe i wouldn't have been so bitter about going to park city if we hadn't had Cabo planned...Where we did I feel like i just compare.) I really am grateful for my parents and letting us use their points and getting us a free weeks stay. It was super nice to stay in a really nice room...the room was bigger and nicer than our wonderful apartment...and I really am glad that I just got to get away and enjoy my time relaxing. I just wish we hadn't gotten our hopes up with Cabo. Oh and the stupid Swine Flu....yeah it's a bunch of crap...HERE'S AN IDEA EVERYONE!!! Take care of yourself. Eat right. Wash your hands...feet...body. hygiene is a MARVELOUS idea! Exercise. And then i bet you either A don't get it or B you're body is healthy enough to fight it off. I'm brillant. Thank you America. I think i'm changing jobs now, i'm going into the department of COMMON SENSE. My other new idea now was we should have only gone a couple of days and then gone with the Anderson family to california and Disneyland for a week. Welp. It's okay. I'm staying positive in hopes that next year we can still go somewhere fun. Maybe next year i'll have a killer tan. As for this year...looks like i wont.
Also I have learned that going to park city was maybe a really good idea. because in years to come we can always go back there for our anniversary. It's close and praticle. Los Cabos wouldn't have been very praticle. but Park City now....If we ever need a getaway Park City will be something special for us. Ü
