Oh how IrOnIc...

Well Today Is MAY 13....3 years ago Tyson asked me to His Senior Cotillion dance. Wow. That seems FoReVeR ago. It wasn't our first date we had been on, but it was the "night" he asked me to be his "GiRlFrIeNd" (now this is the moment you're supposed to go Ahhh....how cute!! so do it) So from this day on...We have been dating for 3 years! wow. Crazy! and we are finally going to be getting married in 20 days!! I didn't think that would ever come...Through the years I have grown to love him so much! I had grown so sick of guys and dating. I had come to the conclusion that there was no such thing as a gentleman anymore. I was sick of guys "texting" me asking me out on a date. I was sick of them having me pay my part. I was sick and tired of not being treated good, and It made me sick when the guys didn't care about their family. Tyson stood out. One thing i remember was in February a group of friends all went to the Myan for dinner and then to a Grizzlys hockey game. some of us were "paired" up on dates and some were just came to flirt with the others who weren't paired up. My date and I got to ride in Ty's car with Ty's date. (needless to say i was jealous i wasn't Ty's date....) But I was so surprised at how he walked up to her door to pick her up (instead of honking) and how he opened the car door for her. I was truly amazed. Then he paid for her meal...he treated her nice...and when the night was over he walked her to her door. (although she was very unappreciative...Thanks...) So I finally was like He's got looks...Charm...and He's nice... I decided i was moving in. It took months for him to finally get a glimmer of a hint that i liked him. I swear everyone knew i was head over hills for him...EXCEPT him. (he may be smart....but not in the common sense department. haha) In April my friend Nikki and I went to a hockey game to watch her boyfriend play when all of a sudden Ty showed up...with another girl...(this is where it gets sticky...) I flirted (or tried to flirt to the best of my ability) and he flirted back! FINALLY! We talked and laughed the whole game! The girl he came with ended up leaving him which made him need a ride home. I offered Nikki to give him a ride home (since Nikki drove...) It was a "Hockey ritual" to go to "Common Cents" gas station after any and all games. So we went there with all our friends. I got a Powerade and Ty got a Sobe and a Zinger. (yes this may be a small "my version" of the zinger story. Ty's view is better) As we were racing out to Nikki's car Ty and I got battling on who got to sit in the front seat. We got to the door at about the same time but Ty reached for the door (with the zinger in his hand) which made me smash his zinger when i reached for the door. He yelled "you smashed my Zinger!!" Nikki shocked then said "she smashed you're whaT??" (wala the zinger story) When we got to Ty's house to drop him off he stole my phone and took off out of the car (remember the days when it was so FUN to just do stupid flirty things!! The fun butterflies of a crush?! AAahhh the days) I chased after him la lal la la la. What a story. I love him so much!!! Today also has another crazy twist to it. When Ty and I had first started talking marriage we were almost 100% sure we were going to set our wedding date on May 13th. wow. Happy almost married today to me! We changed the date to June 2nd because of Ty's MCAT. Stupid test. It's the tests fault that I am not getting married today, but rather i get to go to my friends wedding.
