Bio Life...

Well some lovely girls i work with (Amber and Heather) go and give plasma at a place called Bio Life. When you donate plasma the center gives you back money for your time...after hearing about this...and being paranoid about money i was thinking that is would be an awsome thing to go and do...make some extra money and Tyson and i could use that for our honeymoon. :) i was smart. so i talked Ty into doing it. Saturday we went in and had our appt. Tyson finished and he didn't like it at all. i don't really know why but it just made him sick...so he said he'd never do it again. it was okay. i don't care. but me. holy fetch i think i ran out of blood and plasma. it took me 3 hours to get through it. man alive!!! It never really hurt me. it was just a weird sensation and i laughed my head off the whold time!! The guy that was in charge of watching me was thinking i was retarted cus i would break out into a fit of giggles every 5 minutes!! wow. sickening!! anyways. it was weird and i finally finished. but then when they pulled the needle out something totally weird happened and my arm hurt so bad! it felt as if i had a golf ball stuck in my vein. and it hurt to put pressure on it. so i told the lady that my arm hurts...she asked if it hurt the whole time and i said no...just no it does. so she removed the gauze and it was so swollen..and she smiles and says...op..you're going to have a bruise. super. so she gets an ice pack and tapes it onto my arm. super let's see if Ty lets me go again now. ha ha. so i keep going with my day nothing hard. just a nap. when i woke up from the nap my arm hurt sooo bad. and yes i have a lovely bruise. Ty wont let me go again. he for starters doesn't like seeing me in pain...and he doesn't think i need to sell my bodily fluids for money for us. . .he's so sweet. but i just don't know...i think i might have to suffer through the pain for the money. . . .

AHHH After hearing your story I don't think I would ever want to give plasma! I used to give blood before I left but that is nothing like Plasma I have heard! Now that I have lived in England I can't give blood for the rest of my life, so my donor days have been put to a rest as well!
