Life of a med students wife....: My Ty

HaPpY bIrThDaY to My Ty!!!! (and if this worked right it should be posted sunday morning july 13th since that's his birthday....!)

i met Ty by dating all of his friends....haha....when finally i smash his zinger and got his attention. long story but simplified me and nikki went to a hockey game when Ty and another friend who liked Ty showed up. Ty came with brittany but ditched her...(i know sad, but dating is a battle field...) he ended up coming home with me and nikki. after the game we went to get drinks and snacks at common cents, where he got his ritual powerade and zinger (it's like a twinkie with sprinkles on it) and we raced to the car figting over the front seat. well i smashed his zinger and finally got his attention. since then we've been dating for 2 years and have never looked back. :)

going back in time we've done so many fun things....and yes the majority of these pictures are from dances but honestly...those dances were so much fun! especially when i have finally found a

guy who can swing

dance!! those are the dances we danced to. we did the swing to any song that we could and then rested on the slow dances. who slow dances anyways. the dances brought out a lot of crazyness in us, but it's all about fun .

Ty is so wonderful to me. he pushes me to be the best i can be. He does so many things for me that i take for granted. He's always making sure i have a smile on my face and if it's not there he's the one who puts it there. He always wants to bear my troubles and is willing to listen to any story i share. He wants to show me everything. okay mostly just moab, but he makes it feel like he's showing me the world. like I've said

Moab is his favorite place and he wants to show me everything there. from the red dirt to

the amazing beautiful out looks. I'm still getting used to his rock crawling adventures, which i know makes it hard on him because i'll sometimes get out of the Jeep or i'll tell him not to do something. but he respects me for it. he knows how i feel about things and i'll get braver, it just takes time, and thankfully he's patient.

He tries so hard to be the best person for me. :) sometimes it makes me laugh. He really does bend over backwards. When we go out on dates it's things that i want to do regardless if he wants to do it or not. It takes a lot of arm twisting to get him to tell me what he wants to do. He' s always leaving surprises for me to find. Be it a special note or a picture of him on my camera that he took. He is a super sweet guy, and i'm so lucky to be the one with him.

Ty is a hard worker. His grades are so important to him. He has decided to become an eye surgeon and he'll do whatever it takes to become that. He's committed. If he says he'll do something he'll do it.

He makes sure what i am doing in school is getting finished as well. He's wonderful enough to help explain a biology or chemistry concept to me even if he has some big assignment or test to do. (and those who know how bad i suck at those classes knows he is taking at least an hour out of his time to help me)
